The arrival
Arrival at Zante airport, welcome, and departure towards Agios Nikolaos (30 km). During the journey, we will admire the stunning eastern coast of the island of Zakynthos, which faces the Ionian Sea. In the background, we will notice our destination, the incredible island of Kefalonia. We will have the opportunity to stop at the best panoramic points before reaching the port of Agios Nikolaos. Boarding the ferry that will take us to discover the largest island of the Ionian Sea. A stop along the coast at Ammes Beach bay for lunch (optional, not included). Following this, check-in, a walk through the alleys of the capital, Argostoli, dinner, and overnight stay.
Kefalonia
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the Great North and the Lixouri Peninsula (130 km).
We head north of the island, with a stroll through the alleys and the small harbor of Fiskardo, before descending to the picturesque village of Assos. Next, we will see Myrtos Beach from the panoramic viewpoint, followed by a lunch stop (optional, not included). We continue by entering the Lixouri Peninsula, with a relaxing stop at Petani Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island), then we will drive along the coast of the peninsula to take the ferry from Lixouri back to Argostoli. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Itaka
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards Ithaca (55 km).
We depart towards Sami, where we will board the ferry to discover the magical island of Ithaca, a picturesque island famous for its legendary history connected to Homer’s Odyssey and its mountainous landscapes and natural beaches. Free time to explore the hidden corners of this gem, with lunch by the sea in the town of Vathi (optional, not included). During the cruise, we will make two stops for a swim from the boat at some of the most beautiful spots on the island. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner, and overnight stay.
Agios Gerasimos
Breakfast at the hotel and then we explore the center of the island (70 km)
We depart for the center of Kefalonia, where we will visit the Monastery of Agios Gerasimos, a place of worship and spirituality dedicated to the island's patron saint, set in a breathtaking landscape full of history. Next, we will visit Melissani Lake, a stunning underground cavern. The light filtering through an opening in the ceiling creates spectacular color effects, making it one of the island’s natural wonders. We continue with a visit to the Drogarati Caves, majestic natural caverns featuring impressive stalactites and stalagmites, offering a fascinating underground experience. On the way back to Argostoli, we will stop for lunch (optional, not included) and enjoy a swim at Makris Gialos Beach. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Zakynthos
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the island of Zakynthos (130 km)
We depart early at 7:00 AM towards Pessada, where we will board the ferry to return to the island where Ugo Foscolo was born.
Arrival at Agios Nikolaos and we drive along the coast to the village of Amoudi, check-in, and relax on the beach beneath the hotel.
Lunch by the sea (optional, not included) and departure for the "Hidden Zakynthos" excursion, where we will explore the most authentic and lesser-known parts of the island. Exo Chora, Gyri, and Loucha are just a few of the villages that will take us back in time...
Following this, we will enjoy a sunset aperitif on the magical cliffs of Exo Chora before continuing with a typical Greek dinner at a tavern on the cliff. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Marine Park
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the south of the island (55 km).
The morning will be dedicated to visiting the Laganas Marine Park, a beautiful bay where, by boat, we will explore the Caretta-Caretta turtles, the Caribbean-like island of Marathonisi, and the incredible cliffs of Keri. We will make two stops for a swim in the stunning waters and return to the port of Agios Sostis. Afterward, we will head to a typical tavern for lunch (included). Return to the hotel and relaxation.
In the late afternoon, we will set off to explore the capital, Zakynthos Town, where we will wander through the narrow streets and trace the island's history. Dinner at a typical fish restaurant (optional, not included), return to the hotel, and overnight stay.
Blue Lagoon
Breakfast at the hotel, relaxation, and excursion to the Deserted Coast and Great North (80 km)
Morning of relaxation and free time. In the early afternoon, we will head to the northwest coast, to the village of Porto Vromi-Anafonitria, where we will set sail to discover the island’s wilder and less-traveled coast. Here, we will make two swimming stops in the beautiful azure waters that define the area (which we call the Blue Lagoon!) and, while sailing along the coast, we will visit the Blue Caves, whose crystal-clear waters reflect a deep blue, creating a magical and unique atmosphere.
Return to the hotel, special dinner for the last evening, and overnight stay.
Departure's day
Breakfast and departure for Zakynthos airport (15 km)
Packed breakfast and we will reach Zakynthos airport in time, where our tour will come to an end!
