Description
A spectacular mountain hike through history, mythology and breathtaking landscapes. Discover the famous Dragon House of Mount Ochi, one of Greece's greatest archaeological mysteries, and reach the chapel of Prophet Elias just below the summit of the highest mountain in southern Evia. According to local tradition, this is also the mountain where Zeus and Hera first met. Along the route, enjoy unforgettable panoramic views over Karystos Bay, Attica and the Cycladic Islands.

Level Difficult - Long mountain hike with rocky terrain, uneven paths and significant elevation changes. Suitable for experienced hikers with a good level of fitness.

Program
Meet your guide and head towards Mount Ochi. Follow a panoramic mountain trail leading to the famous Dragon House, the best preserved of the mysterious megalithic structures found in southern Evia. Learn about the legends, archaeological discoveries and theories surrounding its origins while exploring one of the island's most fascinating historical sites. Continue towards the chapel of Prophet Elias, located just below the summit of Mount Ochi at approximately 1,400 meters above sea level. Enjoy time to relax, take photographs and admire spectacular views stretching across Karystos Bay, the coast of Attica and several Cycladic islands before descending back.
